Transforming Ánanaust's sea defense wall, this project blends design with nature. After severe storms, Reykjavík revamped the area with a new observation deck offering breathtaking views of Faxaflóa Bay, Akranes, and Snæfellsjökull. The design by Hildiberg's very own Dario Nunes along with Verkís, not only highlights the deck's architecture but also preserves the natural darkness of the coastline, creating a safe, inviting atmosphere for visitors. A seamless transition between the street and the sea front, becoming a striking landmark, perfect for witnessing the midnight sun or winter nights.
