The company 66°Norður opened its eleventh store in 2022 and it is located at Hafnartorg in the old harbor area. Basalt Arkitektar designed the store and Hildiberg was in charge of the lighting, but the inspiration was Icelandic weather and environment. For example, the lamps are a direct reference to weather and wind maps, but the company began producing protective clothing for sailors almost 100 years ago.
